The pistol is stamped on the barrel with an anchor and 'FABRIQUE NATIONAL D'ARMES DE GUERRE HERSTAL BELGIQUE'; Browning's Patent Depose with a lion over 'PV' and a star over 'N' and the serial number '4479'.
