omschrijvingStraight-bladed dirk. The hilt consists of a gilt cross-piece with five balls and inversed quillons. There is an ivory grip and octagonal gilt pommel. The blade is straight- blued and gilt for half its length and has a single groove. The scabbard is made of black leather with gilt brass mounts: two lockets with rings- the top locket also has a frog stud- and a chape. This dirk is part of the Spinney Collection which includes in total sixteen swords- five dirks and three pistols (AAA3114 (pair) and AAA3115).
