omschrijving | Enfield No 2 Mark 1 revolver. Wooden grips are applied to either side of the butt. A ring is fitted to the base of the butt. The frame is solid with the barrel and made entirely of steel. Fitted with a six chamber cylinder. Double action. The barrel is rifled and fitted with a blade foresight and a square notch rearsight. The calibre is 0.38in. The serial number 'A1923' is stamped on the revolver. The Enfield revolver was developed as a replacement for the Webley Mark VI in the 1920s. The original model had a hammer spur with both single and double action - the later No 2 Mark I* model had the hammer spur removed.
