omschrijvingWebley Mark I**revolver. Hatched plaques of composite material are applied to each side of the butt to form a grip. Solid frame made in one with the barrel and made entirely of steel. A cylinder chambered for six rounds is fitted. Double action. The barrel is rifled- and a large blade foresight is fitted. The calibre is 0.45in. A naval broad arrow and the serial number '80776' are inscribed on this revolver. Mark I** and Mark II** were naval revolvers introduced after April 27 1915. Alterations involved the fitting of a Mark IV barrel plus a Mark V cylinder assembly on to these revolvers.
