omschrijvingArtillery carbine. It is virtually fully stocked to muzzle. The stock is secured to the barrel by two steel bands. Martini action. The barrel is steel with leaf rearsight and blade foresight. The calibre is 0.303in. Two inverted arrows are inscribed on the rifle indicating the Mark II government disposal marks. This is a conversion from a rifle to a drill purpose cadet carbine (Mark II Artillery carbine) There is no indication that this is a naval weapon.
