| omschrijving | Sea Service pistol. The stock made of walnut- is fully stocked to the muzzle. Fitted with brass trigger guard and brass buttcap. A single brass ramrod pipe is fitted forward of the fore-end into which the wooden ramrod with brass tip is fitted. It has a steel trigger with a slight backward curl. A steel belt hook is fitted to the side of the stock. The lock is a sidelock- flintlock. The barrel is circular and smoothbore. The calibre is 0.56in. Inscribed on the lockplate is 'TOWER Crown' over 'GR'. Inscribed on the barrel is a crown over 'GR' over an anchor. Inscribed on the stock is what appears to be 'IIP'. There is also a crown over an arrow over '1806'.
