omschrijvingCelestial table globe. Astronomical details on the sphere are the same as Morden, Berry, and Lea, GLB0165. There is a magnitude table pasted on to the right of Auriga. The Milky Way and the Magellanic Clouds are labelled, and a novae in Cygnus and Cetus are also labelled. A total of 62 stars and three star groups are named. The 48 Ptolemaic constellations and four of the non-Ptolemaic constellations are drawn. Two of the southern constellations are drawn as well as those of Plancius. However, not all of the southern constellations are visible because of damage. For full details about the cartography and construction of this globe please refer to the related publication.
